Twenty Weeks - half way there!

20 weeks!

Wash hair today - check. YES!

It's been a really exciting week and even more baby excitement coming up! We had a photo shoot in Atlanta earlier this week and decided while we were there, IKEA sounded like a great idea. Luckily it was only a few blocks away from where the photo rental place was so we stopped by for an hour or so on our way home. Drum roll please.. we bought a crib. TA-DA! It's just our style.. no frills.. simple.. linear.. easy. We also bought some book cases, pictures, home decor, and new drinking glasses since ours have slowly disappeared (A.K.A. broken) over the past few years. I have to stop and brag on Lee for a few minutes. I have NEVER met anyone as spatially special as he is. I mean.. he can take ANYTHING.. I mean ANYTHING and make it fit nice and neat in any space you give him. Everytime we go to IKEA it means buying more than intended.. and more than I think we have space for in our vehicle. Not a problem for my man. He'll make it work no matter what.. and looks good doing it. Not only does HE look good, but whatever he's making fit looks all nice and neat. I have NO idea how he does it ladies and gentlemen. No idea.

Sunday is our first of six hypnobabies classes and I'm super excited to learn how to self-hypnotize-anesthesize myself. All I know is to wear comfy clothes and bring a few pillows and a blanket. Speaking of comfy clothes. I stopped at Northpoint Mall in Atlanta because they have a Gap Maternity store there. I bought a new pair of below the belly normal looking stretchy jeans on clearance for $25.. woohoo! It's the first time I have zipped a pair of pants in about a month!

The fun doesn't stop there! Monday is our ultrasound and another appointment scheduled with Vanderbilt Midwives so will hopefully find out (upon baby Steffen's cooperation) if we'll decorate with pink or blue!

Well, thank goodness you washed your hair. I wasn't going to read any more posts until you did ;) Hooray for IKEA cribs! So excited for you guys as the time gets closer and closer. Now hurry up and find out what you're having. Auntie Tisha needs to know what colors to buy & make stuff with...and you know if you don't tell me, every gift from us will be aqua & lime :) Love you!
